half day today!

whooo! i love half days. every single classs is only 30 minutes long so it feels like nothing. i love that. and then afterwards i get to hang out with my sister and Jenny Zhong. we are going to go to Burlingame High school. to meet my awesome friend Abby. it is going to be fun. i haven't seen her since her birthday. which is sad considering we live about 5 minutes away from each other, but it's because we're so busy. with school, family, volunteering, and dance there is no way to see each other a lot. i cant wait to learn how to drive over the summer and soon get a liscense. that is going to be aweeeeeesome. i seriosuly can't wait. i have 5 minutes before the bell rings to let me tell you how hot it is. it is verrry hot.i feel like i am in la during the summer. summer, omg, that is only 2 months away. whoohoo. i cannot wait for it. although some of my family plans have been abrubtly cancelled i have faith that it will be fun, sun, and friend filled. no more chem, no more geometry. alleluhiah.

guests

today we had two guests in chemistry. their names were Joan and David Webb.
he did lots of expirements involving pressure. to learn more about pressure click here. he was very interesting and called on many of my classmates to do the expirements. it was very entertaining. though i am worried about if my teacher check marked my name. he always seems to do that. i admit it when i talk he is allowed to check mark me but he is not allowed to check mark me for no reason. the picture is a vaccuum. many of the things we had to do involved this thing.

Stoichiometry

what is Stoichiometry you may ask? i personally don't know how to explain it (or do it!) so here, let me lead you to the wikipedia page. if you are a visual learner and would like to see a picture of Stoichiometry here it is. (something kind of like this)

elephant toothpaste

this week we had time to do a lab which consisted of chemicals mixing together to make a cool booming "foam" which my teacher likes to call elephant toothpaste. if you would life to learn how to make your own elephant toothpaste then click one of the links inserted in this page.
