    my map

View Alia Saba's Chemistry Field trip Map in a larger map

i went on the mills canyon field trip last week and it was okay. i was expecting something different. but it's all good because many of my friends went and i got to miss class which is always fun. i never knew that we had a canyon until my friends from track informed me that they had to run it a couple of times. at first, i didnt really want to go on the field trip but because Jenny Zhong and my sister decided to go i just went alog with them. unfortunately, my sister got sick and couldnt go so i was just chilling with Jenny and some of my other friends. that day we met in front of the school at nine oclock and walked for an hour. unbeknownst to me mills canyon is not a park. it is like a hiking area which goes in a circle. i thought the hike was for a final destination but it wasnt. i personally thought that this was more of a bio field trip and not chemistry related whatsoever but i i guess the trip was okay.

    HomemadeRiceKrispies

rice krispies are the bomb. but HOMEMADE rice krispies are even better.
    here's the ingredients.
today my friends Jenny, Jenny, and Laurie decided to make yummy rice krispies after a very boring movie .

    1. melted butter and the marshmallows in a pot
    2. mixed them all together
    3. waited a little so it can cool down
    4. eat 'till you are full

Science: the molecules in the butter and marshmallow bounce faster making it all liquidy and easier for the cereal to stick to make rice krispies. and when the mixture cools down, it become cool so we can eat it.

hurray for fun and yummy chemistry projects.

    half day today!

whooo! i love half days. every single classs is only 30 minutes long so it feels like nothing. i love that. and then afterwards i get to hang out with my sister and Jenny Zhong. we are going to go to Burlingame High school. to meet my awesome friend Abby. it is going to be fun. i haven't seen her since her birthday. which is sad considering we live about 5 minutes away from each other, but it's because we're so busy. with school, family, volunteering, and dance there is no way to see each other a lot. i cant wait to learn how to drive over the summer and soon get a liscense. that is going to be aweeeeeesome. i seriosuly can't wait. i have 5 minutes before the bell rings to let me tell you how hot it is. it is verrry hot.i feel like i am in la during the summer. summer, omg, that is only 2 months away. whoohoo. i cannot wait for it. although some of my family plans have been abrubtly cancelled i have faith that it will be fun, sun, and friend filled. no more chem, no more geometry. alleluhiah.
